During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS, CS:S and CS:GO. Other than that, I can see this map becoming one of the best 1.6 ZE maps ever released, and that counts for something. The mapper should implement additional routes on these spots, including second options within the vents to allow easier navigation, and to give zombies a chance at winning the game too. This combined with the precise timing for zombies to reach the shuttle at the end with only a bare 7-9 seconds to try to get in. For instance the doorway that opens a gap due to a box on the right blocking it is impossible for zombie to pass through if there are one or more humans defending. That said, while I do love the gameplay, and its length, there are some serious balancing issues at specific spots in the map. ![]() ![]() it's super-refreshing to see this aesthetic being implemented in 1.6. I use quotemarks because most maps don't even mimic lighting AT ALL. ![]() This map actually feels like it has 'realistic' lighting.
